Anyway, my college really should invest in sleeping pods so that I can catch some Zs before my first class . I get there by 7:30 for a parking spot and wind up waiting up to four hours for my first class.

Protip: Invest in a pair of dark sunglasses and a ball cap. Sleeping in class has never been so easy...

I’ve literally just fallen asleep in my classes before.

You have a sleeping pod - your car.
If you want a more public place to sleep, seek out the library or the architecture building. Both should have a plethora of comfy places to lie down.

That sounds like me when I was in college. I would bring a couple of pillows and had a couple of sunvisors I would put up and just sleep in my car till time for class. Pretty sure some people thought I was homeless.

They’re not as noise cancelling as you think, you need headphones and something soothing to actually sleep. My college installed some in the library when I was in undergrad.
